Are you Chasing Waves or Making Waves?

While I was working on a garden fence this week I saw a boat go by that I knew my friend was on, so I gave him a call to welcome him back home.  As I returned to work I heard waves hitting our shore and knew where they came from.  As I smiled to myself I felt God speaking to me. I believe He said that people were chasing waves, but He was not in the wave.  Just as my friend was not still out there, he was already at the dock, God is doing things on earth and we are often steps behind Him because we are chasing after the signs of where He once was.  He caused the waves but has since moved on.  How many of us chase after the latest move of God?  Listen and see what God has to offer instead!  Lord Bless your listening
